Leprosy is a communicable disease, caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium leprae, which affects the skin and peripheral nerves of people. It can cause severe disability and result in extreme discrimination and prejudice.  

Leprosy Review is a peer-reviewed journal, including original papers on all aspects of leprosy to improve the management and control of the disease and its consequences, by providing relevant research and sharing experiences and treatments.
